I began my secretarial career as a legal secretary and worked in Essex and Union Counties for many years. Once I started my family, I was a stay-at-home mom. When it was time to re-enter the workforce, I chose employment as an administrative/medical assistant for podiatric physicians for 12 years. That experience has made me quite knowledgeable of the many different insurance plans, how they work and what is needed to assure the most accurate information possible about your particular plan. I worked very closely with adult and senior patients. A change in plans brought me to SHA more than 7 years ago as the office manager at the Westfield office. While I left behind many of my patient friends, I now enjoy meeting and working with adults and children and my friendships keep growing. At SHA, I am responsible for assisting patients with appointments, answering any questions pertaining to what you or your child's experience will be like at SHA, questions pertaining to your particular insurance plan and obtaining insurance information as to specific benefits under your plan. The most important aspect of my job at SHA is our patients. Greeting them with a smile, understanding their needs and assisting them to the best of my ability in not only a professional manner, but a warm and friendly one too. I'm here to make your experience at SHA the best possible. We work as a team at SHA to make your visits to our offices pleasant, informative and productive. Hope to speak and meet with you soon. Remember, we're only a phone call away.
