Michele McGlynn received her Masters degree in Audiology from Ithaca College and her Bachelors degree in Teaching for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped from the State University of New York at Cortland College. She is licensed both as an Audiologist and as a Hearing Aid Dispenser.
Ms. McGlynn takes a particular interest in auditory processing disorders in children. She has worked extensively with school districts evaluating and recommending treatment for children with Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) and hearing loss. In addition, she evaluates adult patients with hearing loss. She dispenses various digital hearing aids and assistive listening devices based on each patient's specific hearing loss. She highly recommends that families accompany patients to her office so she is able to educate patients and their families on the effects of the hearing loss.
Ms. McGlynn is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is available to provide educational workshops on hearing loss and auditory processing disorders to senior groups, child study teams, and families.
